• Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely by Stripe; CalmApply does not store full credit card information.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate and improve the CalmApply Service.
• To autofill forms and personalize your job application experience.
• To generate AI suggestions (via OpenAI APIs) when enabled by you.
• To provide customer support and communicate account updates.
• To process subscription payments and manage your plan via Stripe.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse or fraud.

Sharing of Data

We share your information only as needed to operate the Service:

• With service providers such as hosting, analytics, and AI vendors (e.g., OpenAI).
• With Stripe for secure payment processing.
• When legally required or to protect CalmApply’s rights and users.

Data Retention and Security

We store user data securely using Supabase infrastructure and industry-standard encryption. Resume and form data are retained only as long as your account is active or as required by law. You may delete your data at any time by contacting support or closing your account.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time. CalmApply complies with applicable privacy laws, including the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA).

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and third-party analytics tools to improve user experience and monitor performance. You can manage cookie settings through your browser preferences.

AI Data Handling

When you enable AI features, relevant portions of your text (e.g., resume content or form data) may be sent to OpenAI for processing. CalmApply ensures only necessary data is shared for generating responses. We do not use your data to train AI models.

International Transfers

If you access CalmApply outside the U.S., you consent to your data being transferred and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our site. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
